About Franklin & Evelyn Plant Green Point Foundation
The Foundation serves “to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us, to share ‘this little piece of heaven’ and to have a positive influence on others.”

We're located on a 50+ acre private preserve off Gehrke Road
near Port Angeles, Washington. The property was originally purchased in 1963, by Franklin and Evelyn Plant.

Our goals are to increase the students' awareness of and respect for other people, animals, plants, and physical features of the land and sea, and to share knowledge of the complex ecosystems present at Green Point. We implement these goals through involvement of schools, parents, local businesses, organizations, churches, and community groups.
The Franklin and Evelyn Plant Green Point Foundation was created to promote uses of the property, such as day-schooling and hiking by student groups, and research and observation by educational and study groups or individuals. The property will also be used for retreat and recreational activities, as approved by the Board of Directors.
